Please note that counselling is regulated on a provincial and territorial basis in Canada. In order for a clinician to be able to see you for your confidential virtual mental health counselling, you must choose a clinician who is licensed to practice in the province or territory where you live. If you happen to choose a clinician outside of the province/territory where you live, your appointment will be cancelled.

If you have a First Nation status number or an N number, you may be eligible to receive up to 22 hours of counselling each year through the National Indigenous Health Benefits (NIHB) program. Most of our clinicians are registered with the NIHB program, but please confirm prior to booking. If you aren’t sure, call our Office Auntie at 1-833-277-5678 to learn more.

The principles guiding my practice are cultural humility, respect, transparency, respect, harm reduction, compassion, and trauma-informed care.

My approach to helping might be offering strengths-based support within a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their healing journey at their own pace. My approach empowers clients to take an active role in shaping their healing plan, ensuring it aligns with their unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore current challenges and the experiences that led to them, while I provide compassionate guidance and practical support to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and move forward toward healing.

Some of the gifts I bring to my holistic healing practice include authenticity, deep listening, empathy, a non-judgmental presence, and a grounded sense of humor. I also draw on cultural teachings and the power of shared stories and lived experiences to build meaningful connections and foster trust in the healing process.

I have over 10 years of experience working with Indigenous communities, specifically supporting First Nations and Inuit youth aged 12 to 17 in a rehabilitation center setting. This work has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges they face and strengthened my commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed care.

Outside of counseling, I am also the founder of New Tribe, a brand that creates Indigenous-inspired apparel and merchandise that celebrates culture, humor, and identity. I’m passionate about uplifting my community—whether through my counseling work, creative projects, or new ideas in business and wellness.
